दर्पण प्रकाशन, हिन्दी भाषा में विभिन्न विषयों की पुस्तकें प्रकाशित और वितरण करने वाली प्रकाशन संस्था है।
इसका शुभारंभ अप्रैल, 2018 में हिन्दी भाषा में कला और संस्कृति, करियर, मनोरंजन, घटनाएँ, स्वास्थ्य, इतिहास, साक्षात्कार और संस्मरण, साहित्य, मीडिया, राजनीति विज्ञान, जनजातियाँ तथा सुरुचिपूर्ण, ज्ञानवर्द्धक और जनमानस को जागरूक रखने वाली पुस्तकों के प्रकाशन के उद्देश्य से किया गया है। इससे पहले दर्पण प्रकाशन, दर्पण वीडियो इण्डिया की एक इकाई थी और सन् 2013 में प्रकाशन एवं वितरण काम शुरू किया था।
यह प्रामाणिक है कि विश्व की प्रमुख भाषाओं में से एक हिन्दी भाषा का इतिहास कोई एक हज़ार साल पुराना हे। विभिन्न स्रोतों से प्राप्त जानकारियों के अनुसार विश्व में हिन्दी बोलने, लिखने-पढ़ने और समझने वालों की संख्या लगभग तीन अरब के आसपास है।
दुनिया के जिन देशों में हिन्दी अधिकृत भाषा है उनमें भारत के अलावा माॅरीशस, सूरीनाम, गुयाना, ट्रिनिडाड और टोेबागो आदि हें। इनके अलावा अमरीका, ब्रिटेन,जर्मनी, न्यूज़ीलैंड, सिंगापुर और संयुक्त अरब अमीरात में भी हिन्दी भाषियों की बड़ी संख्या है और कुछ जगह इस भाषा को सरकारी मान्यता भी मिली हुई है।
ऐसी समृद्ध और जन-प्रिय भाषा में पुस्तक-प्रकाशन करने के उद्देश्य से शुरू किया गया कार्य अप्रत्याशित कारणों से ठहर सा गया था। अब 2020 से नई ऊर्जा के साथ पुस्तकों के प्रकाशन का काम शुरू किया गया है।
प्रकाशक के बारे में
दर्पण प्रकाशन की स्थापना पत्रकार, लेखक, वृत्तचित्र एवं टीवी कार्यक्रम निर्माता-निर्देशक बृजेन्द्र रेही ने 2018 में की है। दर्पण प्रकाशन का उद्देश्य अपने पाठकों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण साहित्य उपलब्ध कराना है। इसके लिए लेखकों का दायरा बढ़ाया जा रहा है और नए प्रतिभाशाली तथा चर्चित युवा लेखकों की पुस्तकों के प्रकाशन का प्रयास किया जा रहा है।
इससे पहले उन्होंने 1985 में दर्पण वीडियो इण्डिया के नाम से टीवी कार्यक्रम बनाने के लिए एक प्रोडक्शन हाउस और रिसर्च लायब्रेरी की स्थापना की थी।
देश-विदेश के अनेक संस्थानों और दूरदर्शन के लिए अनेक धारावाहिक, टेली फिल्म्स, वृत्तचित्र तथा लोकप्रिय टीवी और वीडियो कार्यक्रम बनाने के बाद दर्पण वीडियो इण्डिया ने मीडिया कन्सलटेंसी और डेस्कटॉप डिजाइनिंग के क्षेत्र में भी अपना विशिष्ट स्थान बनाया। इसके साथ ही भारत सरकार के संस्थानों और निजी क्षेत्र के लिए पुस्तकों और पत्रिकाओ के प्रोडक्शन और प्रकाशन का काम भी किया।
रेही ने दर्पण प्रकाशन की स्थापना सुरुचिपूर्ण और ज्ञानवर्द्धक पुस्तकों के प्रकाशन और वितरण के लिए की है। इस साल अनेक पुस्तकें प्रकाशित की जारही है।
About Us
Darpan Prakashan is a publishing house that publishes and distributes books on various subjects in the Hindi language.
It was launched in April 2018 with the objective of publishing books in Hindi in the categories of art & culture, career, entertainment, events, health, history, interviews & memoirs, literature, media, political science, tribes, etc., and enlightening books that stir the conscience of the readers.
The purpose of Darpan Prakashan is to provide quality literature to its readers. For this reason, the scope of authors is being expanded, and efforts are being made to publish the books of new, talented, and noted young writers.
Prior to this, Darpan Prakashan was a unit of Darpan Video India and started publication and distribution work in the year 2018.
It is established that as one of the most prominent languages in the world, Hindi’s history dates back a thousand years. As per information obtained through various sources, there are almost 3 billion people in the world who speak, read, write, understand, or conjugate Hindi.
In addition to India, countries where Hindi is an official language include Mauritius, Surinam, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, etc.
Apart from these, there is a large Hindi-speaking population in countries like America, Britain, Germany, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates, and Hindi enjoys official status in many places.
The efforts that were started with the objective of publishing books in such a rich and popular language had to be stalled due to unforeseen circumstances.
The work for the publication of books has been started with renewed energy in 2021.
About the Publisher
Brijendra Rehi, a journalist, author, documentary and TV programme producer/director, and publisher, founded Darpan Prakashan in 2018.
Prior to this, he had established a production house and research library by the name of Darpan Video India in the year 1985 for the production of TV programmes.
After producing many serials, telefilms, documentaries, and popular TV and video programmes for Doordarshan and for many organisations in India and abroad, Darpan Video India also made a name for itself in the fields of media consultancy and desktop design.
In addition to this, it also worked towards the production and publication of books and magazines for government organisations as well as for the private sector.
